The museum is located on NAS and is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Inside the museum, you will find over 150 restored Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard aircrafts. Enjoy 300,000 square feet of aircrafts and historical artifacts that will blow your mind and take you on a trip through time.
Blue Angels Practice & Autograph- From March to November, the Blue Angels practice out at NAS and sign free autographs on Wednesdays after the morning practice. The public is invited to watch the practice and attend the autograph session.

Flight Simulators- The museums features both the Motion-Based Simulator and the Top Gun Air Combat Simulator. The flight simulators offer patrons of all ages a realistic air experience. Rides run constantly daily and can be bought in packages with the IMAX films.
*U.S. Navy Blue Angels- As you read above, you can easily find the famous Blue Angels practicing anytime from March through November. However, tens of thousands come to Pensacola twice a year for the annual Beach show and annual Homecoming show at Pensacola’s Naval Aviation Museum. The Beach air show usually occurs in the first of second week of July. Hotels and condos are booked as early as January each year, as tourists fight for a slot on the beach to enjoy the famous show. Just as many show for the Homecoming show at NAS, as the Blue Angels always end the season with a bang. Make sure you visit the Blue Angels website for more information and photos of the local hometown heroes.
*Wall South at Veterans Memorial Park- Located on Bayfront Parkway in downtown Pensacola. The wall is a one-half scale replica of the Memorial Wall located in Washington, D.C.  Visit their website for more information!

Community Information

Pensacola is more vibrant than ever!  There is always something exciting to do or see.  Whether it is taking in a show, enjoying an outdoor festival, attending a community class, or simply hanging out and enjoying Pensacola’s unique culture. It is the people that make Pensacola special.  This is a place to work, live and call home.

Tips for Finding the Perfect Neighborhood

1. Make a list of all of the amenities that are close by in the neighborhood you are considering as your new residence.  Keep in mind what distances and routes to each of these places are acceptable and what are not.

2. Determine what the best features of the neighborhoods are.  This is especially helpful if you are deciding between a few different neighborhoods.

Are there parks nearby?
Is it scenic and visually appealing?
Are there quiet areas, streets, culs de sac?
Are the people friendly in the neighborhood?
Is the neighborhood clean?  Yards, streets, parks?
Are there nice trees and foliage?
Do the lots have large or small yards?
Are there walkways and are they easily accessible?
Is it a safe neighborhood?
What are the market values of the homes in the area?
Are there many houses for sale?
How long ago was the community developed?
What is the average age of the people in the area?
Are there families with small children in the area?
What is the proximity to schools?
Are there community events or organizations?

3. Walk around in the neighborhood.  The best way to determine the cleanliness and friendliness of the neighborhood is to walk around in it and meet its residents.
